The Edwards Foundation and it’s board of directors have long sought sanctuary for animals which are neglected or deprived of the possibility to thrive. Many of the animals in our care have been in a situations which caused them to be in peril of being deprived of life. We are a no kill animal rescue.
An example is Easy, a fox trotter, who was too old and medically unsound to complete his government job of hauling materials up steep mountain slopes in order to build trails. Easy developed a respiratory ailment from working for years at high altitude and cold weather. He was not expected to live more than a year. He was welcomed by the foundation and lived here for 10+ years until he died of old age.
